at last…. it cuti time. i can sleep until the afternoon, i can do nothing and just eat and watching tv all day everyday. all the assignment done and has been sent except for the Gender short story.

guess what i got Full Marks in my Gender Drama assignment. i kicked ass!!!!!!!!  thank god i got the idea to do a musical, the idea actually came to me when i saw Sarah Jessica Parker singing as Annie in the musical. everything was great eventhough i wore a dress and walked in high HELLS(heels) to gain that A, i deserved every part of it. Miss Kavita love the shoes (gracias Lene), she love all the songs (clever me), she like the pause moment, she like it all just one problem and that was the Policeman played by Scott. personally he was dissapointing to me bcoz he almost cost us the marks…. thanks anyway.

Error in Life

2 weeks left until cuti raya, yang tak balik raya tu ikut sy la pi raya kat rumah orang lain.

2 minggu tapi i have tons of assignment havent even started and nees to be sent before the holidays. i’m so dead la. let me see what i have:

(i) Live drama presentation (Lit&Gender)- done the script, now practicing to act excecute it next saturday.

(ii) oral test for Japanese and Spanish.

(iii) japanese & spanish essay assignment due next week.

(iv) IR Theory oral test next friday

(v) Foreign Policy assignment just given today. hope this group don’t make so much drama or someone is getting the axe. this paper due on Oct.5

(vi) short stories for Lit&Gender. one week before final

(vii) need to read around 6 article.

(vvi) quiz International Organisasion & Japanese.

so dead lar… and im sick losing my voice, but thats not an excuse. this semester is the harderst!!!

MODELLING

There are 2 kinds of model. fashion models and commercial models. fashion models can do commercial ad such as cosmetic, hair and even bikini but fashion models are the most famous one such as Cindy Crawford, Giselle Bundchen, Tyra Banks, and Helena Christiensen.

in fashion, there are 2 kinds of model:

1. Regular Model
2. SuperModel

         Supermodel is the superstar in fashion, and there was an era where the supermodels ruled the world. this era started during the late 80’s until the early 90’s and the major names in the supermodels arena was the one name such as Cindy, Naomi,Christy, Linda, Tyra, Claudia, and Helena.

          the term supermodel was claimed to be coined by Janice Dickinson as the World First Supermodel who was countless magazine cover. Supermodels are count by their magazine covers and the prestige of the magazine such as Vogue, W, Elle, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar and many more. according to history the world first supermodel was actually Lisa Fonssagrives in the 1930’s to the 1950’s.

           Twiggy was the one who change the fashion industry at first with her long but skinny look while models during that time was more plum and curvicious than her. She made the standart that are use for models nowadays, to be tall and skinny. that’s was in the 60’s and she with Wilhelmina (now the founder of Wilhelmina Models), Veruschka and Cheryl Tiegs was the one who open the glamourous world of modelling.

             Donyale Luna was the first Black women to be appear in the cover of Vogue however Beverly Johnson was the first black women to cover the American Vogue and broke the color barrier in fashion. famous black supermodel are such as Iman, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, and Omahyra.

              back to the supermodels era, during that time the industry was controll by 6 major name or known also as the Big Six according to Time magazine. they’re Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, Claudia Schiffer, and the ‘Trinity’ made of by Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington.

              Supermodels today are not as famous during the supermodel era but they still exist. today supermodels are such as Giselle Bundchen (who was the largest modelling contract and the richest models according to Forbes Magazine in 2007) Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Liya Kebede, Laetitia Casta, Eva Herzigova, and my favorite model of all time Carmen Kass.

           There are also male supermodels existed such as Marcus Schenkenberg and Tyson Beckford.

LESSON 1: Designer

there are a few kinds of fashion design as haute couture, ready to wear, bridal, and men fashion. however the most famous is Women’s wear. the most expensive fashion wear is haute couture where the grament is made by hand and very specific to the buyer. it’s also the most expensive clothes you can ever buy.

Grand fashion house that makes Haute Couture clothes are such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Givenchy, Versace, and Armani to name a few.

Famous fashion designer:

Karl Lagerfeld

the most prominent designer in the fashion industry. work with many famous faces such as Nicole Kidman and is the creative director and designer for the many fashion houses and still is such as Chanel (Duh!), Fendi, and his own label Karl Lagerfeld. he also used to work with the french label Chloe.

CHANEL: made famous by Coco Chanel. she introduce the world with the pants suit for women and worn by Katherine Hepburn. she also has the most famous perfume line called ‘Chanel no.5′

FENDI: popular with the fur design.

CHLOE: a new french fashion house and famous for ‘it handbags’ such as the Paddington Bag

Mark Jacobs

called the ‘genius’ in fashion world. he single-handedly brought the fame back to Louis Vuitton. a gradute from Parson School of Design in New York, he’s known for his runway show to be notoriously late but great fashion sense.

Louis Vuitton: a french fashion house and famous with the luggage. Jacob’s has made LV one of the most known label with his design on the LV handbags.

Vera Wang

any bride would definately die just to have her wedding gown on the wedding day. she is known for her fantastic wedding gown and her range start from $5000.

Diane von Furtenberg

Known for her dresses and was the one who introduce the wrap dress to the world. she is an American designer.

Christian Louboutin

A french shoe designer and one of the most worn shoe by celebrity because of it red-color leather sole as the trademark. his shoe price tag start from $400 a pair.

Hubert de Givenchy

His label Givenchy was the one who was responsible to made ‘the little black dress’ that are known to the world until now. this french designer help actress Audrey Hepburn in the film ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s" where she worn what known today the little black dress.

Super Stess Out and Tired

well that sum up my week. i am freakin’ tired from reading books, doing f***ing presentation and going to meeting. it’s like a routine already, im just done with it. i need to do something fun and out of my comfort zone.

waiting for the Y Fittness to open so that i can try yoga and pilates…. bring it on coz im up for a challenge.

monday was pretty stressful coz i have Japanese class at 9 am until 11am but i love Sensei Kato class, it exciting and funny. after my Japanese class i got Spanish class until 1pm and it’s getting harder and so many language to remember. i already got 3 language in my head, now i have to stick 2 more language in it but i was thinking to take French as an audit maybe next year after done with estudiar Nihongo. done with Senora Kasma class was lunch but tapau jak. i always ate in class on monday but people start asking me question and translation in malay, i would love to help you guys but my stomach come first. 2pm is International organization class until 4pm but i enjoy pn.Marja class. 4pm is International Relations Theory tutorial which repeats the same tutorial which ppl are afraid to go in. and just my luck, i got to do a presentation next week (thank god its IPE). finish class gone straight to the gym while eating.

Tuesday. class start at 9am too but it IR Theory (was confuse all the way). 11am was IO meeting at the library. ate lunch at anjung siswa and ICT tutorial at 2pm (ketawa jak kerja time tu coz dengar lagu dangdut). 4pm ICT lecturer which i hate!!!

Wednesday repeat the same stuff on monday but only the language part. after watching a spanish movie from classe de espanol. i was free coz didn’t went for the Public Speaking coz im done my part and i got A for it,hehehe.

Thursday was BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN day. my Literature and Gender class went to see the movie and it was explicted and very very visual way different from the book. kesian Jack died after all the love affair and he was murdered! before that screening it was meeting for the subject again with my ‘clubbing’ team.

Friday. was hectic coz i need to do a presentation on Foreign Policy Analysis which i found the english to be very hard and accurately confusing but i cracked it anyway. hope that i did good coz the lecturer cut my presentation short (after all the effort i put into it)

One in a Million

my smile… hahaha, i got flatted when a chick at the gym comment on my smile. she said that she like when i smile coz it seem to bright my face and the room. well goolly gosh, thanks!

i always like my smile and this comment had reminded me that a few of my friends in my high school said that some of them want to have a piece of me (in a good way). a few wanted my smile, some wanted my skin color, and some even wanted my eyes or the shocker my weight???? all of this i hope is a compliment but to be honest im not really or not yet fully comfortable with myself. i have issues, let put it that way.

the creme de la creme is when someone or someguy said that he would change places with me but let me break it to you dude, it’s freakin’ hard to be me. he said that it would be fun to have everything serve in a silver platter but life isn’t like that, my life anyway. to be me:

1.u need to be ready for some hardcore criticism and teasing

2. need to be talkative and loud bot to mention ’super honest’

3.be Independent early in your life.

Bitch please.!!!!!!!!……….. me and a few friends of mine have already discuss about this things and this show how shallow and i repeat shallow as shallow can be ,about human tolerance and their understanding. after 50 years of independence of our country i wasn’t really suprise about how close-minded are people but for these University students, you need to be ashamed of yourself coz how can you survive in the real world with this kind of attitude. i have been working in many places already and one thing that is important to have in the work field is to adapt with the enviroment and to have a great amout of tolerance. however some people are still in denial or denying denial bout there are different people out there.

all the Bitches out there, i have a very good sugesstion for all of you. since you are a university student, you might as well take a subject on ‘Gender’ to have a better clarity on this matter or issue.

A Bitter Pill

thats life…. a bitter pill although its taste like crap but it will make you happy and ‘healthy’. i really believe that everything happens for a reason and i think life itself has prove that theory, well in my life anyways.

i was actually checking some pic in my friend site( Mimie’s actually) and it suddenly hit me that im not the old person that i was. first i am getting older whether i want to accept it or not (I hav issue and not to mention the Peter Pan Syndrom), secondly i am in my sophomore year and i dont know what is install for me, thirdly i think i become more and more desperate and very sneaky and i talk ‘like old people’ too much as my sister will always say. have i mention that i’m getting a year older this year, 21 sounds old and retired.

what did i already accomplished in life? gosh, it sounds that im having a mid-life crisis or semi mid-life crisis anyway. ok let get the fact straight.
1. i was born… yeah for me

2. i think i was raised good by my parents… hey, i have my own opinion and that what counts.

3. i got an education

4. i said what i dont like and whats playing in my ‘big’ head although people doesnt always want to hear my thoughts but they’ll have to deal with it.

5. i have beautiful, wonderful friends and im grateful for them. i know they’re my friends after all of the drama.

6. i can drive a car

7.i can cook plenty kinds of food.. just name it and i will cook it. i got it from my mom

8. i hope that i have the eyes for fashion and trend.

9. i have good health.

its a bit weird coz me and Cheryl actually don’t really like having to take japanese class and honestly i can;t really understand what sensei was talking almost all the time and japanese really sounds foreign. however, after 2 semester with sensei maeda we were suprised to know that he won’t be teaching us for level 3 of japanese language but sensei kato naomi (but we’ll see what happen when 3rd sem opens) i was a bit confuse coz if his not teaching us in the 3rd sem why he bother giving us homework during the holidays? FYI, i havent even look at the paper coz i dont know where i put it, saying i might have lost the paper maybe will become a true thing.

anyways, sensei we all will definately miss you and remembers all the Japanese(kiddie) song that u had tought us. not forgetting the funny moments especially during 2nd sem where i laugh a little bit more.

how to say ‘all the best” in japanese huh? i told you guys that im not good in japanese.

Drag Queen

Flight 5114, although im not very good with numbers but i remember that alright. i was laughing all the way from KL to KK coz the air-hostess look like a drag queen, a true drag queen with big hair and dragish make-up except without the long pink-ish fingernail. i think she a real women but girl u better ask someone else (who knows what to do) about your make-up.
i have nothing againts drag queen or any queen of that matter coz we all human and we just need world peace in this world. now i sounded like a contestant for Miss World/ Universe….

i was in KL for a few days and i was great. shopping was phenomenal, clubbing was fantastic but the food super expensive and i kept on getting a feeling that i was bout to get sick which didn’t happen. talk about being sick, i met a doctor from Canada in my flight to KL and we talked about a lot bout malaysia in general and she gave me a important tips to get the vaksin for chickenpox so that will be on teh top of my to-do-list. wish me well !!!

clubbing in KL is a bit more expensive than clubbing in KK but its way lot more fun there, i mean its wild but thanks to my friends who came down all the way from Penang. thanks Haresh and JK and good luck in your guys final year to becoming a doctor in Down under…. merci bien. holla at me dude
