Sem 5 2008/2009 (Part 1)

it has been a ride…

a very long, hard and tiring ride. please don’t make it a habit. been going through a lot this semester and im in my final year. just the sound of it scares me, i havent even done enough research for my thesis and how am i goin to even finish it.

FYI, im doin “Global Warming: Kyoto Protocol after 1997″ as my thesis title as i think i am a environment concious person and this thing is very close to my heart. even Puan Marja say the same thing to me when i was presenting this title (mayb coz she knows that i don’t like printing stuff and waste tons of paper). got critized but was laughing all the way.

Hydra group?

OMG… wat a group. i have fun with the subject but it was very hard to handle 24 persons in one time. and most of them are girls only 3 of us are boys…erm..men. eventhough we loss 3 out of 4 tutorial but i was proud that we won The Project Runway presentation… i like, i like! we were scratching each other for every tutorial but we gone through it. there were totally tears while this group were there, even looking for the group name was a challenge since everyone have a different name in mind. well i never take NO for an answer, they’ll get HELL NO from me.

KK Wetland..wah now thats a challlenge. it was pouring rain that morning and we have to handle children from the Simon Fung. well it wasn’t easy but nothing is easy in this life. but everything was a blast since we have Rebekah Yang Beriman with us. i have to salute my team member’s for doin the gotong royong in the month of Ramadan (Puasa la)

tons of things happen in this group but its a good experience right? plus we got a blue shirt out of it (Babe, i need my shirt back!)

Sushi

i know, i know… i haven’t been blogging for so long and i had tons of juicy stuff happen but i get back to that in another blog.

now, i just went to Wagamama for lunch today and i don;t think i’ll be going there again. the presentation of food was poor, overly price and not alot of selection. the waiters gave me a vaucer and i gave it back since I KNOW that i’m not going to waste my money there again. Sushi King was much better in everyway even the price are cheaper (i think). no wonder Sharon told me Nobu was the best. “hold the tube for me dear!”

talking about Sharon, had a nice dinner with her and Puspa at Little Italy last nite. i know you’re abit confuse on who is Sharon and Puspa. let me tell u the 411.

Sharon a.k.a Mumsy or better known as Dr.Sharon is a friend of mine that i met in the gym. very friendly and nice to talk to(and gossip). she’s an eye specialist who i thought was a datin/housewife when i first met her.

Puspa or Dr.Puspa is a lecturer in UMS and a friend of Sharon. lovely lady. she’s a specialist in marine life plus the ocean or is that the reptile.

My Point of view over Philippines claims over Sabah

honestly,

if we look on the law side of this case. sabah would fall into the hands on Malaysia.
there was no philippines authority in Sabah since it given by the Kesultanan Sulu and by giving it to the British company showed that the Sulu ruler at that time doesn’t have any intention to rule Sabah as a part of its land.

however the Philippines has the history of ruling the North Borneo. this would be one of the strong point for the Philippines. the case to claim sabah as a part of Philippines is totally wrong as only the North Borneo was under the Kesultanan Sulu. while the other part of sabah was under Kesultanan Brunei and this was including Sarawak.

it would be a interesting senario if this case would be bring to the Int.Court of Justice but i doubt that this will happen as the Sipadan and Ligitan case might repeat itself again.

had a blast in Kiulu… water rafting on the 26th Jan 2008.

my dream to do water rafting finally became a reality. arrive in Sembulan around 8.30am while facing a problem with naim and a few people as the doesn’t hav the transport to go to sembulan but all is good. everyone else was already there eating and laughing.

i think we were the loudest group of all the 60 ppl who went to kiulu but we had fun, thats just us trying to hav some fun.

the way to Kiulu wasn’t easy as im only used to highway and straight roads (the same goes to rita) as we were ‘pening’ when we arrive in the rafting place. just my luck my goggle broked went i try to put it on.

my group was Cheryl, Suzie, Vero, Eli and Ednna. we had a friendly ‘instructur with a unique name Bajon.

the ride was FUN!!!! the adreline was pumping and my face was smiling. everyone scream and so did i coz i asked has anyone died before and there was no case before, i might just be the first on to be on the list.

had some bruises when doing body rafting but its all good.

all in all we hav 17 ppl from IR and that is

i had a blast that nite… 12.Jan.2008.

was the master of ceremony together with michelle. and i was also doing a cooking demonstration of Tortilla Espanola which i dont know what was i mumbling about when i was up at the stage.

most of the ajk including me wasn’t really thrilled about the nite coz we all have seen the rehearsal and it was worst than horrible but lady luck was with us although there was a bit bump and bruises happen during the event but surely it was amazing.

the opening dance, i dont really understand. syok sendiri kot?

the drama romeo y Julietta was so funny. bravo to the cast of first year eventhough they were sabotaj. i love the she-devil!!! her horns lights up

the choral speaking was great, kudos to Andi!

the flamingo dance was… muy muy sexy.

Betty la fea was so hilarious and the betty becoming beautiful was unforgettable coz she did a Marilyn Monroe style. my fav!

marylyn poem entitled ‘ nina morena y agil’ was do-able.

the cherry on top that nite was watching the group singing. i didnt know that NeO and Jinus can sing, they both can sing well. floretta was great too with ‘pero me acuero de ti’.

seannie and chee was a disaster. why can someone tell them that they can’t sing? why did we have to hear the out of tune, tone deaf kind of singing.what did us do to received such a torture?. no offence but don’t quit your day job guys.

the best part of it all was eating and taking picture with all of them.

i See Dead People

as everyone might know, i’m not a big fan of death. in all of my fears in think i have the huge phobia on being death the most. i just don’t want history to repeat itself.

i have the feelings that i’m going to die soon but i been having this since ever my mom passed away like 4 years ago. i was told that i might die the same way my mom died and that might just be in a car accident. with all my ‘Talent’ i can’t see what really going to happen, i can help others about this but i’m kinda helpless for myself. the Death feeling grows a little more this time as the coming month of december.

now i really need to write my own obituary,hehehe.

i saw a lady in Oprah where she wrote herself her obituary to see and reflect what she had done in life… maybe i should do that

i never really have a nickname whether its what my family or my friends calls me… it always have been Dan. just Dan! its not danny, not daniel, simply Dan…. the great divine.hahaha

being a scorpio

Firstly, thanks to Cheryl and Michelle for celebrating my bday. for the rest who didn’t came, what goes around comes around (honey, i believe in karma). we went to Shenn, Cocoon( didn’t stay long there!), & QbAR.. after that went out my friends again (sorry lene tp mesti korang penat sdh). party till dawn dude!

turning 21 was fun but tired la. not enough sleep coz Sunday mau prepare for my bday lunch thingy lagi.
